Stone Mask

Medium: Foam Clay & HexFlex

A mask made from clay foam, molded to the wearers face in order to be comfortable for long wear. Mold was taken in plaster of paris strips, then cast in plaster and then the mask was created on the plaster face. Painted and varnished using HexFlex.

This was created for Five Oaths, an Irish LARP system, and has been used for weekend long events outdoors without damage.
