Curative Conflagration

In another corner the healers have set an emergency healing station, heroes being brought in and put back on their feet as fast as they can. They are hidden from the combat in order to shelter them from the carnage outside.
Two healers come staggering into the area, propping up the hero known as Equinox. They spring to action, assessing the damage.
One of the healers starts to work, closing ragged bullet wounds while checking his vitals. “Cmon Equinox, stay awake. Stay awake, if you nap I slap. Just so we are clear” Hands moving deftly, closing the entry wounds and stabilizing his vitals.

A scream rings out as a junior healer falls to the ground, her throat cut clean open as several supers slink into the healing zone.
“Well… well well.. look what we have here. A whole bunch of nurses .. so unprotected”.
The healers, almost entirely non com classes begin backing up in the face of the attack. The healer working on Equinox moves forward, ushering the healers to stand behind him.

“Ooh this doctor has a backbone, but we should probably get a closer look at it… to be sure."
Dry, pained coughing laughter comes from Equinox, “Oh…. You stupid bastards” as he reaches out and touches Cauterizes shoulder.
The visible irises of Cauterises eyes slowly filled with molten hellfire and the attackers, maybe just a little too late, begin to appreciate this may have been a mistake.

Overhead, on a ruined government building. Prometheus puts down a enemy supe and lands to catch his breath. As he scans the ground below he spots it as the entrance to the former playground, that was acting as a medic bay turns to a scene from hell.
Prometheus grabs his ear piece, “DISPATCH! THE HEALERS”.
“It's… handled Prometheus… it.. Jesus Christ… it's handled". A fiery figure lands beside him.
“Heliopath… was that you?”
She laughs and applauds. “Fuck no! Aaghhhhhh you can't date your trainee. You can't date your trainee. You can't date your trainee”
“Oohhhhhh, Cauterise?”

"He's a healer… all these years later and that's still so fucking hilarious.“ She then flies off.
